Fall Ball Recap:

By Jeremy Laughlin 10/05/2021, 10:15am CDT

Well, that was quick… our first official Fall Ball season is over. We had a lot of fun scrimmaging, playing games and refining skills. It was exciting to see both experienced and new players come together and give this program a try. On week 3, players wore gold sweatbands to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer, which we were honored to support. This formally concludes our on-field activities for 2021, and we are already looking forward to 2022!

  • FALL COACHES AND HELPERS, we will send you a direct email with a quick feedback survey. Please take a minute to share your feedback with us. Parents, if you have any Fall program feedback, you may reply to this email directly.

Did you or a family member help with concessions at the MN State Amateur Baseball Tournament in August? Your efforts helped CBA raise a lot of funds through its concessions operation! The Chaska Cubs are graciously hosting a Pig Roast Party this Saturday as a thank you to our volunteers.

  • If you helped with concessions, please join us from 3-6pm at Athletic Park this Saturday, 10/9!

Look for this event to return next year with the possibility of a slightly different date/time. A huge thanks to Chris Carlson for organizing and to our sponsors Schram Brewery, Cuzzy’s, Golf Zone, Chaska Cubs, Aruba and Plate restaurant.

In May, Chaska hosted a Pitch, Hit & Run event in partnership with MLB. At that time, we awarded local winners (by age group) for softball and baseball. We are so excited to share our very own Matthew Swanson was selected to participate in the State competition at Target Field on 9/11. Not only did he participate, but he also WON the 7-8 age group.
