League Updates:
We blinked our eyes, and the season is already at its midpoint! After a cold and wet spring, Mother Nature has certainly made up for lost time. Players across ages groups are having fun, making new friends, and growing their skills. Many of our travel teams have earned state-tournament berths with podium finishes at several tournaments. Don’t forget to share your successes on our Facebook page and/or email communications@playballhawks.com.

• Youth League (7-10 year old’s) Year End tournament is June 23-25. Details will be disseminated through your coaches soon.
• Community League (11-15 year-old’s) Year End tournament:

  • 6th-7th, 7/07/23 - 7/09/23 Edina

Tryouts for 2024 Metro Baseball teams will be August 19th and 26th at Community Park. Registration will open in late July. Timeslots and further details provided later.

REGISTER NOW: Starz Baseball Camp @ Community Park
Our friends at Starz Baseball Academy are hosting a 1-day camp at Community Park on Wednesday, 6/14. This is run by the head coach of St. Cloud State’s baseball program, Pat Dolan, and his staff. Historically we’ve had a very high turnout from Chaska players and surrounding communities. Take advantage on this opportunity for extra player development.

Minnesota Twins MSHSBCA Clinic will take place at Athletic Park from 9:30-11:00am on June 23rd. This is a free clinic offered to 6–12-year-old players looking for an extra player development opportunity.

RECAP: Pitch, Hit, Run Competition Present by MLB:
On May 26th we had the opportunity to host a Pitch, Hit and Run event in partnership with CYSA and Major League Baseball! Lots of fun had by 90+ participants. Thank you to all the volunteers and participants who made this year’s event a success! Congratulations to the winners of each age group:

Need quick & easy dinner plans as you run between spring sports? CBA is continuing to partner with Chaska VFW to host Burger Night the 3rd Wednesday of each month. $4 will get you a delicious, made-to-order burger and chips. This is a great way to continue building our baseball community and raise funds to go towards equipment and other needs.
