Offseason Dome Time:
CBA will continue to provide optional, offseason dome time from Jan – Mar. We will be leveraging our Player Development coaches to structure these sessions with specific developmental goals. This is a significant purposeful investment in the development of our players and strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity! Format and timeslots will be provided in separate communication in December.
- Starting Sunday, 1/7 – 3/17
- Cage time from 1:00-7:00pm
- Field time from 2:00-6:00pm

Equipment Recycle:
The CBA is hosting an equipment recycle this fall to assist players who may have outgrown their baseball equipment. We will have collection dates where you can drop off previously used equipment. Prior to baseball tryouts there will be an equipment pick up day. The recycle is available for all youth players of CBA to participate in. We are asking for any baseball equipment and/or gear to be new or used with life still in them and all items to be cleaned or washed before dropping off.
- DROP OFF DATE - December 20, 2023
- LOCATION - Chaska VFW - CBA Burger night
- TIME - 5:30-7PM
- There will be bins set up for items to be dropped off.
- ITEMS ACCEPTED - Ball gloves, bats, helmets, cleats, pants, and catchers gear.
Open Board Roles:
We still have a couple open board roles for the 2024 season. We are most urgently seeking a Concessions Director to replace the outgoing Buckentine Family. They did an amazing job formalizing our concession program and is fairly turkey. Also looking for additional Webmaster support. Please contact President@playballhawks.com to express your interest in shaping the future of our program!
Support Chaska Santa:
CBA is partnered with a mysterious, wonderful dude named “Chaska Santa”. He leads the Toy Drive for our community and does an amazing job getting involvement. There are a lot of people in need this year and WE NEED TOY donations. Please consider donating a couple unwrapped toys and placing them in drop boxes peppered across Chaska. Thanks for help make a difference in our community!
JOIN US! Burger Night 11/15 @ Chaska VFW:
Need quick & easy dinner plans as you run between winter sports? CBA is continuing to partner with Chaska VFW to host Burger Night the 3rd Wednesday of each month. $4 will get you a delicious, made-to-order burger and chips. This is a great way to continue building our baseball community and supporting our 12u team’s away tournaments. New CBA merchandise/swag now available.
