9U-12U Tryouts will take place this year over one weekend, Saturday and Sunday, August 17th and 18th at Chaska Community Park. The following will be the schedule for Tryouts:

Saturday August 17th
9U - 9am-10:15am
10U - 10:15am-11:30am
11U - 11:45am-1pm
12U - 1pm-2:15pm

Sunday August 18th:
12U - 9am-10:15am
11U - 10:15am-11:30am
10U - 11:45am-1pm
9U - 1pm-2:15pm

Parents – There will be a brief parent meeting at the beginning of each age group tryout session on Saturday August 17th . Please ensure at least one parent is in attendance for this brief meeting. In advance of tryouts, PLEASE READ the CBA Travel Baseball Program Details that were shared last month.

IMPORTANT: In order to be considered for a Metro Travel team for the 2025 season, a player must attend the tryouts and attending both tryout dates on Saturday and Sunday August 17th and 18th is expected. Seeing players on both dates allows the evaluators to provide 2 days worth of scores for each player.

Due to the tryouts occurring over a single weekend in 2024, we know that families may have already set up family vacations or are unable to attend both tryout dates over the weekend; therefore, we are providing a Tryout Make-up Date on Wednesday, August 28th from 5pm-8pm. In order to attend the tryout make-up date on Wednesday, August 28th , you must receive permission to attend. The time slot will be provided to you, after permission is given, as to when your tryout will be on August 28th . In order to be considered to attend the tryout make-up date, you must send a note to traveldirector@playballhawks.com providing name of player, age level intended to try out for, and the reason why the player cannot attend the tryouts over the weekend of August 17th and 18th.

NOTE: 13U & 14U travel tryouts will be in Feb/Mar 2025; details will be communicated once finalized.
