Mark your calendar! Tryouts for 2022 9-12u travel baseball (MBL) teams will take place Saturday, 9/11 and Saturday, 9/18 from 4-8pm at the Chaska Dome (subject to change). Players must be fully registered for the 2022 season and must attend each session to be considered for a team. Registration and program details will be provided in August newsletter.

New in 2022:  We will offer a full 9u travel baseball option next year. Previously 9u players had a “Tournament Team” option. Based on interest we will try to form team(s) that will participate in the full MBL season & tournaments. This is a great option for young players who are more serious about baseball and want to try something more competitive!

Why do tryouts in the Fall? Forming teams in Fall allows coaches, players and parents get acquainted and set norms during the offseason. Some teams take advantage of Dome time or other training options to keep players baseball-ready. Why not do all ages? Well, let’s say a lot of physical changes happen with older boys over the course of a winter. Spring tryouts help us see their best work.
